毕业申请

All eligible candidates should have submitted a completed Application for Graduation form to the 注册商’s office by November 27, 2023. At this time only students who are completing this spring can submit a late application. All others are open to apply for next year's ceremony.  If you are unsure if you submitted yours, please contact GraduationApplications@dctdsj.com.

 

名称记录

Marist wants to make sure each name called on 毕业典礼 day is pronounced correctly. 大约在4月4日, students will receive an email introducing them to MarchingOrder, an organization working with Marist to record graduate names. Students will first be asked to register on the site and set up a unique password. 一旦注册, you will be able to access the site and provide the correct pronunciation of your name. If you have questions, please call the Media Center at (845) 575-3635.

毕业典礼的幻灯片

Use the email Marching Order sent to you to create a video slide with a photograph, 拼贴画, and personalized message to be shown during 毕业典礼’s pre-ceremony slideshow and featured on our virtual ceremony website for guests who watch from home. You can upload your photograph and enter your personalized message using the same vendor that does name pronunciation recordings.

订购徽章的截止日期已经过去了. Marist orders extra regalia for students who missed the deadline. Extra regalia will be available for pickup in 唐纳利大厅 112 on:

双学位课程毕业生 

If you will receive BOTH a bachelor’s and a master’s degree at the same time, 你应该两套都订.  分两次下单.

配件 

Graduates are required to wear academic regalia while participating in the 毕业典礼 ceremony. In addition to the cap, gown, and hood students may wear the following:

• 具有文化意义的物品;
• accessories earned for academic distinction; or
• accessories provided by the College for participation in clubs, 组织, 体育团队, 或其他附属活动. 

Common accessories include medals, cords, sashes, stoles, and pins. All decorations and accessories must align with Marist community standards.

Herff Jones doesn’t supply gown accessories, such as cords, sashes, stoles, and pins. If you think you may be eligible for an accessory through participation in the 荣誉项目, 出国留学, 荣誉协会, 或者出于其他原因, please reach out to that department directly.

阵容卡

All graduates must have a lineup card to participate in the 毕业典礼 ceremony. Distribution of lineup cards will take place during the week of 毕业典礼.

A lineup card indicates that a student is eligible to graduate. 信息rmation contained on the card will help the student find their place in lineup for the academic procession. The lineup card contains a bar code that will trigger the students name recording to be read as they cross the stage. Students will not be allowed to line up or cross the stage without a lineup card. The 注册商’s office should be contacted immediately if a lineup card is lost.
